Air Fryer Sea Bream is one of the best and most delicious choices to include fish in our daily routine. Rich in Omega-3 and B vitamins, sea bream is one of the most popular foods for a balanced and healthy diet.

However, the process of searching for bones in every bite can be an unpleasant experience, especially when you have children and you're chasing even the tiniest bone. Nevertheless, if we dedicate 5 minutes, we can fillet our fish and make our meal more enjoyable. The recipe has been made with sea bream, but it can be replaced with any fish of similar size and type. Depending on the size of the fish, however, the cooking time may need to be adjusted.

Cooking sea bream in the air fryer achieves better results than in a conventional oven. The fish is seared on the outside, creating a crispy crust, while remaining juicy on the inside without losing its moisture.

To prepare it, preheat the air fryer to 190°C and cook for 13-14 minutes, turning the sea bream in between. If you prefer not to fillet the fish you can precisely follow the steps of the recipe, increasing the total cooking time to 25 minutes.

Sauce Salmoriglio, originating from Italy, is an ideal sauce to accompany grilled fish, similar to our version of oil and lemon. For its preparation, ingredients such as oil, lemon, garlic, and fresh oregano are used, enhancing the flavors and elevating the overall taste of your meal.

Ingredients
    For the fish
  • 2 Sea Breams
  • salt
  • pepper
  • For the Salmoriglio sauce
  • 140 grams olive oil
  • 140 grams water
  • 70 grams lemon juice
  • 10 grams oregano (fresh)
  • 1 clove garlic (peeled and minced)
Instructions
  1. Lightly oil the fillets and add salt and pepper to taste.

  2. Preheat the air fryer to 190C, place the fillets with the skin side up and cook for 8 minutes.

  3. Turn the fish over and cook for an additional 5-6 minutes. The cooking time may vary depending on the brand of the air fryer, so it's a good idea to check during the cooking process.

  4. Meanwhile, prepare the Salmoriglio sauce by placing all the ingredients in a blender and mixing thoroughly until they are well blended.
